FAQ:

Q: Tell me more!

A: Rosen Ritter is a one man (for now) release group whose ambition (and it’s main reason for existance) is to provide all anime fans out there with more Hi10p anime.

Q: Rosen Ritter? WTF does that mean?

A: The Rosen Ritter were a special infantry batallion in the anime Legend of the Galactic Heroes. Read More: GineipaediaAniDB

Q: How can I contact you?/Do you have an irc channel?

A: Yes, you can contact me and you do this by visiting our irc channel (so yes, there is an irc channel =P). Channel info can be found at the “IRC” page to the right.

Q: Where can I find your releases?

A: I always upload them personally to NyaaTorrents but I do encourage you to upload them to BakaBT and AB if they are not already there.

Q: What source do you use for your releases?

A: I always use untouched BDs and DVDs for my releases. No re-encoding of RAWs or anything of that sort (so don’t ask for something that is not out yet on BD/DVD).

Q: Do you do dual audio releases?

A: Yes, sometimes. It depends on what I’m releasing. If the dub is popular or not ear torture on the higher level then I will most likely do a dual audio release for it.

Q: Do you translate? If not, what subs do you use?

A: No, I don’t – I barely know any Japanese at all except for the mandatory words like konichiwa, pantsu etc. I use either source subtitles or fansubs from a reputable group. I sometimes do modifying/re-styling myself if it doesn’t fit my release at all (I always do it for source subs cause vobsubs are ugly (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻).

Q: Then what subs did you use for x?

A: I always include brief info about the subs in every release post on this blog and if not, then presume that source subs were used.

Q: Will you release x in any other resolution?

A: Generally no – this is something that is often final but if I decide to re-do something then I might do it if I have time (and if it has been requested).

Q: Can you release X?

A: Chances are somewhat slim unless I get several requests for it but you can always drop into the irc channel and ask me.

Q: I found an error/video glitch/vomit/BBQ ribs in one of your releases – How can I report this?

A: Just message me on the irc and I can have a look (if I’m not there wait till I join again).
